I called the Got-It Police Department the other day. Here is the exchange:
Officer Little-Patience: "Got It PD. How may I help you?"
Me: "Officer, I would like to report that I lost something."
Officer Little-Patience: "What did you lose ma'am?"
Me: "My mind!"
Officer Little-Patience: "Your mind!"
Me: "Oh good! Where did you find it?"
Officer Little-Patience, frustrated: "Look lady, I did not find your mind!
And, if you think this is funny, you never had one to begin with."
as he slams down the phone.
