Marble Mutiny

"Lady! You've Lost Your Marbles"

by: Max Minted

Cartoon elderly lady sleeping with marbles slipping around her head.

When I first lost my marbles, I searched everywhere for them.

I looked in the bed, and under it (nope the boogieman never had them).

I check in closets, drawers and even looked down the sink and bathtub drains. Not there!

I checked the pets rooms and beds to see if they were playing with them. Again, I failed to find them. (Though, I did find a dead mouse, one of the cats dragged in, and set it free to the disposal so its spirit could soar).

I checked the trash. Peeked in, and prayed I did not flush them down, the toilet.

Finally, I realized, "I'm better off without them. I have creativity, and reflective thoughts, now."

So, I placed an notice in the Lost and Found:

Lost: All of my marbles and the lone boulder.

Important Note: Do not return if found. Either set them free to roll along, or use them at your own risk.

Signed: Granny Found Giggles (and reflective thoughts)!
